Physical Artworks
How a sale on mallow can include a physical artwork: what the seller sets up, how the collector qualifies and sends shipping details, and who is responsible for delivery.
A listing on mallow can state that the buyer also receives a physical piece, such as a print, a painting or a sculpture. mallow shows this on the listing and can pass the buyer's shipping details to the seller by email. The seller ships the piece.
mallow does not handle delivery or disputes
Physicals and rewards are the seller's responsibility to distribute. mallow doesn't ship anything, doesn't hold funds back until delivery, and doesn't resolve disputes between buyers and sellers. Abuse of this feature leads to suspension from the platform.

For a raffle, mallow shows the physical and its unlock price on the listing but doesn't collect the winner's address. Say in your notes how the winner should contact you.
For Sellers
The option appears when you list an artwork you created, and on any listing if you're a verified creator. For a Gumball it appears for verified creators only.
Mark the Sale
On the listing form, tick Include physical artwork with sale. For a Gumball, the checkbox is on the Gumball details, and it should only be used if every purchase comes with a physical.
Add a Photo and Notes
Click Upload photo to add an image of the physical piece. In the text box, describe what the buyer gets, in up to 1,000 characters. Cover size and materials, where you ship, any extra shipping cost, how long it takes and how to contact you.
Set an Unlock Price (Optional)
Where the format supports it, Set a price for the physical piece to unlock sets the lowest sale price that includes the physical. Leave it blank if the physical is included at any price.
Ask for the Shipping Address
Tick Ask buyer for shipping address to have mallow collect the buyer's details and email them to you. It's ticked for you when you mark the sale as physical and your profile has an email address.
You Need an Email on Your Profile
Shipping details are sent to the email address on your mallow profile. Without a verified email there, Ask buyer for shipping address is greyed out. Add one from the profile link under the checkbox, then come back to the listing.
What You Receive
When a qualifying buyer submits their details and the sale goes through, you get an email titled mallow - Order Confirmation. It contains the order ID, the artwork and price, the buyer's name, shipping address, phone number if given, email address, wallet and a link to the transaction.
A buyer can skip the form. After an auction or a Gumball draw they can still submit it later, and you get the email when they do. After a fixed-price or edition purchase they can't, so they will need to reach you directly. Put a contact method in your notes.
Edition Tiers
With Edition tiers, tick Includes physical on each tier that comes with one, then tick Ask buyer for shipping address. Only buyers of those tiers are asked for shipping details. Tiered listings don't have the photo and notes fields, so describe the physical in the artwork's own description.
What You Are Responsible For
- Shipping the piece, and paying for it unless your notes say otherwise
- Customs, duties and insurance
- Answering the buyer and sorting out loss or damage
- Handling the buyer's personal details with care, and only for this delivery
Rewards
Include rewards with sale is a separate free-text field, also up to 1,000 characters, for anything else you promise buyers or bidders, such as an airdrop for the first bidders. It appears on the listing under Rewards as a message from the seller. mallow doesn't track or deliver rewards, so they're your responsibility too.
For Collectors
Spotting a Physical
- Artwork cards show a package icon next to the price. Its tooltip reads Physical available
- The artwork or Gumball page shows a box reading This listing includes a physical. Click it for Physical Details: the seller's photo, the unlock price if there's one, and the seller's message
- Tiered editions add Includes Physical to the tiers that come with one
Read the seller's message before you buy. It's the only place that says what is shipped, where to, and at what extra cost.
When You Qualify

Sending Your Shipping Details
If the seller asked for a shipping address and you qualify, the Shipping details form opens:
- Auction: when you settle the auction you won
- Fixed price and editions: when you click to buy, before the transaction
- Gumball: when you claim your draw
Fill in Full name, Country, Street address, City, the state or region, Postal code and Email. A phone number is optional. Click Redeem to submit and carry on with the purchase.
Skip carries on without sending anything. Whether you can send your details afterwards depends on the sale:

Where Your Details Go
- To mallow. The details are stored with your order
- To the seller. Once the purchase is confirmed, mallow emails them to the seller
- To you. You get a confirmation email with your order ID at the address you entered
- Not on chain. Only an order ID is attached to the transaction. Your name and address aren't public
As you type your street address, suggestions come from Google Maps.
Save details to this device keeps what you entered in this browser so the form is filled in next time. It isn't saved to your mallow account and doesn't follow you to other devices. Untick it to remove saved details when you submit.
If It Never Arrives
Contact the seller and quote your order ID. Use the contact details in their message on the listing. If the seller has linked an X account, your confirmation email names it.
mallow can't refund a sale, force a seller to ship or arbitrate a dispute. A sale on chain is final whether or not the physical arrives. Before buying a physical from a seller you don't know, check their profile and history, and ask questions first.
